Using this Charvel Pro - Mod San Dimas PJ IV bass guitar is a breeze. Start by tuning it up with the open - gear tuners for accurate pitch. The master volume control lets you adjust the overall sound level, and you can use the pickup blend control to mix the tones from the bridge and middle pickups. The three - band active EQ allows you to shape the sound to your liking, but if the battery dies, just pull the push/pull selector on the volume knob to get sound without battery power. When you're done playing, wipe down the strings with a soft cloth to remove sweat and dirt. Keep the guitar in a case when not in use to protect it from dust and scratches.
