Product Description

The Fender Player Jazz Bass is a remarkable electric bass guitar that offers a classic yet elevated style. Its dual single - coil pickups deliver a powerful, punchy, and tight rumbling sound, giving it a growling voice that's truly distinctive. The smooth playing feel provides a burst of creative inspiration, whether you're in the studio or on stage. This bass can handle any musical idea you throw at it. The body is shaped like a Jazz Bass®, made of Alder and finished in a Gloss Polyester Buttercream color. The maple fretboard has a 9.5' (241 mm) radius, 20 frets, and black dot inlays. It comes with Player Series Alnico 5 Single - Coil Jazz Bass® pickups in the middle and bridge positions, a 4 - Saddle Standard bridge, a 3 - Ply Parchment pickguard, Fender® USA NPS strings (gauges.045 -.105), standard open - gear tuning machines, and nickel/chrome hardware finish. No case is included.

Using the Fender Player Jazz Bass is a breeze. First, tune your bass using the standard open - gear tuning machines. Make sure to adjust the strings to your preferred tension. When you start playing, you'll notice the smooth feel of the maple fretboard, which allows for easy fingering. For different tones, experiment with the dual single - coil pickups. You can get a warmer sound from the middle pickup and a brighter one from the bridge. When you're done playing, wipe down the strings and the body with a clean, dry cloth to remove any sweat or dirt. Store the bass in a dry place to prevent rusting of the hardware and warping of the wood. Although there's no case included, you might want to consider getting one to protect your bass during transport. And remember, if you're not sure about any adjustments or maintenance, it's always a good idea to consult a professional guitar technician.
