Using the Fishman PowerTap Infinity Body Sensor with Undersaddle Pickup is quite straightforward. First, install the pickup following the provided instructions. You can do it yourself thanks to the solderless connections, but it's better to get a pro to do it. Once installed, plug in your cable. If you use a stereo cable, the signals from the Rare Earth and Tap pickups will go to separate channels. You can then add different effects, control the levels, and adjust the EQ for each pickup to get your desired sound. The Blend control is easy to adjust to mix the signals. The Volume and Tone controls in the soundhole are simple to use, and you can make changes to your sound quickly. The voicing switch is there to help you adapt to different guitars and playing situations. Just flip it to the setting that suits you best.
As for maintenance, keep an eye on the LED low - battery indicator on the Blend control module. When it shows low battery, replace the 9 - Volt battery right away. Also, make sure to protect the pickup from excessive moisture and physical damage. If you're not using the guitar for a long time, you can take out the battery to avoid any potential corrosion.
