Product Description

The Cort Gold series is all about sound. Cort claims these are the finest acoustic guitars they've ever crafted. With your very first strum, you'll notice the difference. The exceptional tone results from countless meticulous details and top - notch craftsmanship. The guitar tops undergo an ATV (Aged to Vintage) torrefaction process, giving it the rich, open sound of a decades - old, highly - prized acoustic. Moreover, the sonically enhanced UV finish is lighter and thinner, enabling the wood to breathe and resonate more freely. Using your Cort Gold - D6 - NAT acoustic guitar is a breeze. First, make sure the guitar is properly tuned using the die - cast vintage tuners. When you strum, use a pick or your fingers depending on the sound you want. For a softer sound, use your fingers, and for a more defined tone, a pick works great. As for maintenance, keep your guitar in a dry and moderate - temperature environment. Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight or in a very humid place as this can damage the wood. Clean the strings regularly with a soft cloth to keep the sound crisp. After each use, put the guitar back in its case to protect it from dust and accidental bumps. When it comes to changing the strings, use D'Addario EXP - 16 steel strings as recommended. Loosen the old strings one by one and replace them with new ones, making sure to tune them properly. If you're not sure how to do it, you can always take it to a professional guitar technician.
