The Cort Gold series is renowned for its Aged to Vintage (ATV) treatment. This process lets the Grade A+ solid Sitka spruce top mature and develop a richer sound over time. Similar to torrefaction, ATV gives the Gold-D8 a big, open tone that's bright yet natural, with a strong and warm midrange reinforced by the solid Pau Ferro back and sides. A sonically enhanced UV finish protects the guitar and its tone. It's available in Natural Gloss and a new Light Burst color. Using your Cort Gold-D8-NAT acoustic guitar is easy. First, make sure it's properly tuned using the deluxe vintage gold tuning machines. The D'Addario® EXP16 Light strings provide a great playing feel. When playing, hold the guitar comfortably with the dreadnought body shape fitting nicely against you. For cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the body, fretboard, and strings regularly. Avoid exposing the guitar to extreme temperatures or humidity as this can damage the wood. Keep it in the deluxe soft - side case when not in use to protect it from scratches and bumps. If you need to change the strings, follow the standard guitar string - changing process. And remember, the Aged to Vintage (ATV) treatment means the sound will get even better over time, so enjoy playing and let your guitar age gracefully.
