The Paramount PD-220E is a remarkable blend of modern craftsmanship and vintage charm. It offers the best of both worlds, thanks to its choice of a solid spruce or solid mahogany top paired with solid mahogany back and sides. The offset X-bracing pattern has been finely tuned to maximize resonance and tone. The brand-new Fender and Fishman®-designed Presys VT Plus pickup amplifies the rich, balanced sound of the dreadnought body, while the soundhole-mounted controls keep the vintage look intact. Under the top, a body-sensing pickup enhances the soundboard vibrations and can be mixed with the undersaddle S-Core pickup. The updated look includes snowflake-shaped pearloid fingerboard inlays, feathered purfling, rosette, and backstrip, along with a Black or Tiger Stripe pickguard. It also features an ovangkol bridge and fingerboard, a slim-taper mahogany neck, bone nut and saddle, and comes with a hardshell case. Using your Fender PD-220E is easy. First, tune your guitar using the open-back tuners. The Fender Dura-Tone 880L coated strings give a great sound. To amplify the sound, use the Fender/Fishman Presys VT Plus soundhole pickup system. You can adjust the settings using the controls near the soundhole. When you're done playing, always put your guitar back in the deluxe black hardshell case to protect it. For maintenance, keep your guitar in a place with stable temperature and humidity. Wipe the strings with a soft cloth after each use to prevent corrosion. Every few months, check the bone nut and saddle for any signs of wear. If you notice any issues with the electronics or the tuning, it's best to take it to a professional guitar technician.
