Product Description

The U.S.-designed Paramount series acoustic guitars are expertly crafted and uniquely tuned to turn your musical dreams into reality. These all-solid guitars feature classic '60s design elements like checkerboard purfling, rosette, a distinct pickguard shape, and abalone and mother-of-pearl 'Concert Tone' fingerboard inlays. Despite their retro look, they also have modern design touches. The new Fender- and Fishman®-designed PM preamp systems are tailored to each body shape in the series, offering full tonal control. Specifications: Body Shape - Parlor; Body Material - Solid Sitka Spruce (Top), Solid Mahogany (Back & Sides), Mahogany (Neck); Body Colour - Natural; Body Finish - High Gloss; Fretboard Material - Rosewood; Fretboard Radius - 15.75' (400mm); Scale Length - 24.75' (629mm); No. of Frets - 19; Fretboard Inlays - Mother-of-Pearl Dots; Electronics - Fender®/Fishman® PM System; Bridge - Ovangkol; Pickguard - 1-Ply Tortoiseshell; Strings - Fender® Dura-Tone® Coated 80/20 Bronze (.012-.052 Gauge); Tuners - Nickel; Hardware Finish - Nickel-Plated.

Using your Fender PM - 2 acoustic guitar is a breeze. First, tune the guitar using the nickel tuners until it sounds just right. When you start playing, strum the Fender® Dura - Tone® Coated 80/20 Bronze strings gently at first to get a feel for the tone. For a more electric - like sound, connect the guitar to an amplifier using the Fender®/Fishman® PM System. When not in use, keep the guitar in its case to protect it from dust and scratches. Clean the guitar regularly with a soft, dry cloth. If the strings start to sound dull, it's time to replace them. Avoid exposing the guitar to extreme temperatures and humidity as it can damage the solid Sitka Spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. Also, make sure to keep the guitar in a stable position when playing to prevent it from falling and getting damaged.
