Using the BOSS SYB-5 is easy. First, connect it to your bass and amplifier. Power it up, either with a battery or an appropriate power supply. You can start exploring the 11 different synth wave variations right away. To get sharper sounds, switch to the Enhanced Wave Shape mode. When you want to hold a note and jam on top, just use the onboard pedal. If you have an EV-5 Expression Pedal (sold separately), you can connect it to control the filter cutoff and LFO rate.
