Product Description

The Classic Series offers two unique model types: the traditional Spanish-style nylon-string AC models and the hybrid nylon-string CEC models. These CEC models draw inspiration from steel-string cutaway acoustic-electrics, featuring cutaways, a narrower nut width, and top - notch Fishman electronics. The CEC1 model has a sleek body with a cutaway, a 45mm nut width, and electronics, making it perfect for steel - string players who adore the nylon - string sound. Specifications include a spruce top with African Mahogany (Okoume) back and sides, a Merbau fretboard and bridge, a 25.3' scale length, a ceramic pickup with Cort CE304T EQ, and Savarez strings.

Using your Cort CEC1 - NAT classical guitar is a breeze. First, make sure your guitar is properly tuned. You can use a tuner to adjust the Savarez strings to the right pitch. When you're ready to play, hold the guitar comfortably on your lap with the cutaway design allowing easy access to the higher frets. To get the best sound, pluck the strings gently using your fingers. If you want to amplify the sound, connect the guitar to an amplifier using the ceramic pickup with Cort CE304T EQ. As for maintenance, keep your guitar in a dry and stable environment. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity as this can damage the spruce top and African Mahogany body. Regularly clean the strings with a soft cloth to remove dirt and sweat. You can also polish the fretboard and body occasionally to keep it looking great. If you're not using the guitar for a long time, store it in the provided carrying bag to protect it from dust and scratches.
