The Classic Series offers two unique model types: traditional Spanish-style nylon-string AC models and hybrid nylon-string CEC models. These CEC models take inspiration from steel-string cutaway acoustic electric guitars, featuring cutaways, a narrower nut width, and Fishman electronics. The CEC1 has a sleek body with a cutaway, a 45mm nut width, and electronics, making it perfect for steel-string players who adore the nylon-string sound. Specifications include a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a merbau fretboard and bridge, a 25.5-inch (648mm) scale length, Cort CE304T EQ and LED tuner, SavarezĀ® Cristal Corum 500CJ strings, and classical style tuning machines.

Using your Cort CEC1-OP classical guitar is a breeze. First, tune the guitar using the built - in LED tuner or the classical style tuning machines. Just turn the pegs until the strings are at the right pitch. When you're ready to play, place your fingers gently on the frets and strum or pick the strings. For the best sound, use a light touch on the strings and press firmly on the frets. When it comes to maintenance, keep your guitar in a dry and cool place. Wipe the strings with a clean cloth after each use to prevent dirt and sweat from building up. If you're not using the guitar for a long time, loosen the strings a bit to relieve tension on the neck. Also, don't forget to check the electronics regularly to make sure they're working properly. And when traveling, use the included gig bag to protect your guitar from bumps and scratches.
