Using the Aston Element microphone is easy. First, attach the shock mount to your microphone stand. Then, quickly clip on the pop filter. Plug the microphone into your audio interface and turn on the 48v phantom power if needed. The purple badge will glow to show it's working.
When using it, place it about 6 - 12 inches away from your mouth for vocals or in front of your acoustic instrument. Make sure to speak or play evenly to get the best sound.
For maintenance, keep the microphone in a dry place. Use a soft brush to clean the grille and the pop filter regularly. Avoid dropping or hitting the microphone as it might damage the internal components. If you're not using it for a long time, unplug it and store it safely.
