This pre-wired pickguard is specially designed for the Michael Landau Coma Stratocaster. It comes with Custom ML CuNiFe® Wide-Range Humbuckers. The custom-tuned Wide-Range CuNiFe humbucker bridge and neck pickups offer a slightly stronger output while maintaining the 'hi-fi' clarity that Wide Range humbuckers are famous for. These pickups are wound according to the artist's strict specifications and are installed in a brown shell pickguard that's a bit larger than standard and fits perfectly on the signature Coma Stratocaster. Features include two Custom ML CuNiFe Wide-Range Humbuckers, 1 meg CTS potentiometers and a .02uF, 50V capacitor, black skirted knobs, a 3-way switch, and a shielded brown shell celluloid nitrate pickguard.
Using this pickguard is easy. First, make sure your guitar is the Michael Landau Coma Stratocaster as it's specifically designed for it. Carefully remove the old pickguard from your guitar. Then, attach this new pre - wired pickguard in its place. When using, turn the black skirted knobs to adjust the sound according to your preference. The 3 - way switch allows you to change between different pickup combinations. For maintenance, keep your guitar in a dry and clean environment. Wipe the pickguard gently with a soft cloth regularly to prevent dust and dirt from accumulating. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for long periods as it may damage the pickguard or the pickups.
