Using this Behringer GDI21 V - Tone Guitar Driver DI is a breeze. First, decide whether you want to use a 9V battery or connect it to the Behringer PSU - SB DC power supply (which you'll need to buy separately). Once powered up, you can start exploring the 27 different amp configurations. Just use the switches to choose your desired classic guitar amp, gain mode, and mic placement. Use the level and drive controls to adjust the volume and intensity of the sound, and the 2 - band EQ to fine - tune it. When recording, you can use the dual DI mode. If you want speaker simulation, use the direct recording output. For standard active direct injection, switch to bypass mode. Connect your output using either the ¼'' TS or the balanced, gold - plated XLR connectors. And don't forget to use the ground lift switch if you encounter any ground loop issues.
