Using the Arturia KeyStep is easy. First, connect it to your desired hardware or software through its MIDI, CV/Gate, or sync ports. To create polyphonic sequences, open your DAW's virtual instrument and start programming on the KeyStep's sequencer mode. The arpeggiator mode can add interesting rhythms to your music, and you can choose from different arpeggiator patterns. When using the sustain function, press the HOLD button or connect a sustain pedal. For syncing, use the sync i/o ports and select the appropriate sync source with the switches. Remember, you'll need a camera connection kit if you want to power it with an Apple iPad®. Keep it in a clean and dry place to maintain its performance. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If it gets dirty, use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface.
