Product Description

For a heavy - hitting nu - metal Tele® style, the Jim Root Telecaster is a powerhouse. It offers deep, detuned tones with a simple yet impactful look. The Slipknot guitarist collaborated with Fender to design this signature model that suits his aggressive playing. With a 12' - radius fingerboard, EMG® active humbucking pickups, and a minimalist control layout, it's a force to be reckoned with. The mahogany body in flat white, finished with satin nitrocellulose lacquer, gives it a unique appearance. It has an ebony fretboard with 22 frets and white dot inlays. The EMG® 60 in the neck and EMG® 81 at the bridge provide great sound. The 6 - saddle string - through - body hardtail bridge and 1 - ply black pickguard add to its functionality. It comes with Fender® USA 250L nickel - plated steel strings, deluxe staggered cast/sealed locking tuning machines, and black hardware. A deluxe black tweed hardshell case is included.

Using your Jim Root Telecaster is a breeze. First, tune your guitar using the deluxe staggered cast/sealed locking tuning machines. These make it easy to get your desired pitch quickly. When you start playing, the EMG® pickups will give you a rich, heavy sound that's perfect for nu - metal and other heavy genres. The 12' - radius fingerboard makes it comfortable to move your fingers up and down the neck. As for the bridge, the 6 - saddle string - through - body hardtail provides excellent sustain. For maintenance, keep your guitar in the included deluxe black tweed hardshell case when not in use to protect it from dust and scratches. Wipe down the body with a soft cloth regularly to keep the satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish looking great. If you notice the strings losing their tone, replace them with Fender® USA 250L nickel - plated steel strings of the same gauge. And remember, keep the tuning machines clean and lubricated to ensure smooth tuning.
