The Sapphire Blue Transparent satin lacquer finish perfectly mimics Cory’s cherished original Strat®. The smaller alder body, a bit more compact than a regular Stratocaster, paired with the American Ultra™ Modern “D” neck and contoured body, offers an extremely comfortable playing feel. The Seymour Duncan® Cory Wong Clean Machine™ pickups deliver classic Strat sound, precisely tuned to his unique tone.
This guitar also features a maple neck with a slightly modified headstock, a rosewood fingerboard with rounded edges and a 10 - 14” compound radius, a vintage - style 6 - screw synchronized tremolo, deluxe locking tuners for better tuning stability and easy string changes, and a push/push pot on Tone 2 that skips the 5 - way switch and goes straight to 'Position 4'. Included are a Cory Wong hair tie for muting tremolo springs, a rubber strap lock washer set, and a custom neck plate.
