Product Description

To mark the 70th anniversary of the world's most iconic electric guitar, the Stratocaster®, the Fender Custom Shop presents the Limited Edition Roasted ’54 Stratocaster® Journeyman Relic®. This guitar features a two-piece select ash body with an offset seam on the treble side, delivering bright highs, warm midrange, and deep lows. It sports a stunning Journeyman Relic® nitrocellulose lacquer finish in Wide Fade Chocolate Two-Color Sunburst, along with other color options. The one-piece roasted quartersawn maple neck has a special 70th anniversary Soft “V” profile, a 9.5”-radius fingerboard with 21 narrow tall frets, and a 1.625” bone nut. Three Custom Shop hand-wound ’54 Strat® pickups offer that classic Strat® sound with clear, bell-like highs, routed through vintage '54 Strat® wiring. Premium features include an eight-hole gold anodized pickguard, 1954-style ABS white pickup covers and control knobs, a Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, vintage-style tuners, a disc string tree, a special 70th Anniversary Stratocaster® neck plate, a deluxe embroidered hardshell case, a strap, and a certificate of authenticity.

Using your Fender Custom Shop 1954 Roasted Stratocaster is a breeze. First, make sure you have the right strings on it. The included nickel - plated steel strings in.010 -.046 gauges are a great start. Tune the guitar using the vintage - style tuners with the Fender® logo. Once tuned, you can start playing. Use the five - way switch to change between different pickup combinations and get different tones. When it comes to the tremolo bridge, you can use it to add vibrato to your playing, but be careful not to over - use it as it can cause the guitar to go out of tune quickly. For maintenance, keep your guitar in the deluxe hardshell case when not in use to protect it from dust, scratches, and humidity. Wipe the body with a soft, dry cloth after each use. You can also clean the fretboard with a fretboard cleaner occasionally. Don't forget to check the tuning machines and bridge for any signs of wear and tear regularly. And always keep the certificate of authenticity in a safe place as it proves the guitar's authenticity.
