Product Description

In 2024, the Fender Custom Shop brings out the amazing 1963 Stratocaster® Super Heavy Relic®. It features a lively and resonant two-piece select ash body. Paired with it is a rift-sawn maple neck that's extremely comfortable to play, with a ’63-style “C” back shape and a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard, giving you that classic early-‘60s Strat® feel. The guitar comes in gorgeous Super Heavy Relic® lacquer finishes like Super Faded Aged Three-Color Sunburst, Super Faded Aged Three-Color Sunburst Sparkle, Super Faded Aged Black over Three-Color Sunburst, and Super Faded Aged Surf Green over Three-Color Sunburst, making it look like it's been on stage for decades. It's equipped with three Custom Shop hand-wound ‘60/’63 Strat® pickups (RWRP middle pickup), so it sounds as great as it looks. Other top - notch features include a 9.5' radius, 21 narrow tall (6105) frets, Fat '50s 1/2 Blender Strat® wiring with Greasebucket™ tone circuit, a 5 - way switch, a 3 - ply mint green pickguard, a Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo, vintage - style tuning machines, a bone nut, a wing string tree with a tall metal spacer, a deluxe hardshell case, a strap, and a certificate of authenticity. Using your Fender Custom Shop 1963 Stratocaster is a breeze. First, make sure to tune it up using the vintage - style tuning machines with the Fender® logo. The 5 - way switch allows you to choose different pickup combinations for various sounds. You can use the Fat '50s 1/2 Blender Strat® wiring with Greasebucket™ tone circuit to adjust the tone according to your preference. When it comes to maintenance, keep the guitar in the deluxe hardshell case when not in use to protect it from damage. Wipe the strings with a clean cloth after each use to prevent corrosion.
