Product Description

To mark the 70th anniversary of the world's most iconic electric guitar, the Stratocaster®, Fender Custom Shop presents the Limited Edition 70th Anniversary 1954 Stratocaster®. This guitar features a two-piece select ash body with an offset seam on the treble side. It delivers singing highs, sweet midrange, and tight lows, and sports a stunning Wide Fade Two-Color Sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer finish with various Custom Shop wear treatments. The one-piece quartersawn maple neck has a special 70th anniversary Soft “V” profile, inspired by a 1954 Strat® neck. It's topped with a vintage compound-radius fingerboard (7.25” to 9.5”) with 21 medium vintage frets and a 1.625” bone nut. Three Custom Shop hand-wound ’54 Strat® pickups offer that classic Strat® sound with clear, bell-like highs, routed through vintage '54 Strat® wiring with a wax paper cap and five-way switching. Other top-notch features include a single-ply white pickguard, 1954-style ABS white pickup covers and control knobs, a Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, vintage-style tuners, a disc string tree, a special 70th Anniversary Stratocaster® neck plate, a deluxe embroidered hardshell case, a special “case candy” kit, and a certificate of authenticity. Using your Fender Custom Shop 70th Anniversary 1954 Stratocaster® is a breeze. First, take it out of the deluxe hardshell case. Make sure to handle it gently by the neck or body. Plug it into your amplifier using a standard instrument cable. You can adjust the sound using the five-way switch and the control knobs. For different tones, try different pickup combinations. When you're done playing, put it back in the case carefully. As for maintenance, keep the guitar in a dry and clean place. Wipe it down with a soft cloth after each use to remove sweat and dirt. Check the tuning regularly, and if the strings start to sound dull or feel rough, it's time to change them. Also, make sure to keep the bridge and tuners in good condition. If you notice any issues, it's best to take it to a professional guitar technician. Enjoy your amazing guitar!
