Using your Fender American Custom Stratocaster is a breeze. First, take it out of the deluxe hardshell case gently. Adjust the tuning using the Sperzel® tuning machines with pearl buttons until you get the right pitch. When you're ready to play, the guitar's controls are easy to understand. Use the master volume to control the overall sound level. The tone #1 is for the neck and middle pickups, and tone #2 is for the bridge pickup. The treble bleed feature helps you keep the mids while rolling off the highs without adding extra bass. As for maintenance, keep the guitar in a dry and temperature - stable environment. After playing, wipe the strings with a clean cloth to remove sweat and dirt. You can also use a soft, dry cloth to clean the body and fretboard. Don't forget to check the tuning regularly and the condition of the strings. If the strings start to sound dull or lose their elasticity, it's time to replace them. And always store your guitar in the provided hardshell case when you're not using it to protect it from damage.
