Product Description

The 2023 Fender Custom Shop presents this limited - edition Roasted 'Big Head' Stratocaster® Relic®. It comes with a two - piece select roasted alder body and a roasted maple neck, offering a powerful midrange that stands out on stage. Since the mid - 1960s, the Stratocaster's classic design, like the Big Headstock, is beautifully shown in an attractive aged black relic finish. The gentle cracks and dings from the bridge to the headstock give it an authentic look, as if it's been played in clubs and bars for ages. The guitar features special pickups and wiring for a super - versatile tonal range. Three Custom Shop hand - wound Fat '60s pickups, with a reverse - wound/reverse - polarity middle pickup for hum - cancelling in positions 2 and 4, create strong tones with the warm sweetness of Alnico 2 magnets. The POMO (Postmodern) Strat® Fat '50s wiring provides a clear, bright, and powerful tone, and there's no loss of tone or clarity when you turn down the volume. The volume and tone controls work smoothly, and you can easily clean up overdriven amp sounds by rolling back the volume knob. The Greasebucket™ II bridge pickup tone control reduces gain/mid - loss when adjusted. Other top - notch features include a roasted quarter - sawn maple neck with a '63 - style 'C' profile, a 9.5 - inch radius round - lam rosewood fingerboard with 21 jumbo frets (6100) and a bone nut, a 5 - way pickup switch, an 11 - hole gold anodized pickguard, a Custom Shop Vintage Synchronized Tremolo Bridge, vintage - style tuners, a nylon spacer - equipped wing string tree, and it comes with a deluxe hardshell case, strap, and certificate of authenticity. Using your Fender Custom Shop Roasted Big Head Stratocaster Relic Guitar is a breeze. First, make sure it's in a proper case when not in use to protect it from damage. When you're ready to play, take it out gently. Plug it into an amplifier and start adjusting the volume and tone controls to get the sound you like. You can use the 5 - way pickup switch to select different pickup combinations for various tones. The special wiring ensures that you won't lose tone clarity even when you lower the volume. To keep it in good condition, wipe it down with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove sweat and dirt. Check the tuning regularly and change the strings when they start to sound dull. If you notice any loose parts or problems with the electronics, it's best to take it to a professional guitar technician for repair. Keep the guitar in a place with stable temperature and humidity to prevent warping of the neck or damage to the body. Enjoy playing your amazing guitar!
