Before the Fender Custom Shop even existed, Kath's instrument truly defined 'custom'. Master Builder Dennis Galuszka has recreated it with extreme precision, from the Pignose stickers to the gaff - tape - sealed rear body route. This Limited Edition Terry Kath Telecaster, part of a special 50 - piece run, is a timeless instrument and a well - crafted homage to a guitar legend. Specifications include a Telecaster® body shape made of 2 - Piece Select Ash with a lacquer finish. The neck has a custom profile, and the fretboard is round - laminated rift sawn maple with a 7.25' (184.1 mm) radius and 21 vintage frets with black dot inlays. It features Custom Shop Hand - Wound '67 Single - Coil Tele® at the bridge and a Curtis Novak® Custom Terry Kath Humbucker at the neck. The bridge is a 6 - Saddle Vintage - Style Synchronized Tremolo, and it comes with nickel - plated steel strings, Schaller® M6 Chrome - Plated Die - Cast Mini Tuners, and nickel/chrome hardware finish. It is delivered in a deluxe hardshell case with a strap and a certificate of authenticity.
