The satin lacquer finish perfectly captures the look and feel of Cory's cherished original Strat®. The smaller alder body, a bit more compact than a regular Stratocaster, combined with the American Ultra™ Modern 'D' neck and contoured body, offers an incredibly comfortable playing experience. The Seymour Duncan® Cory Wong Clean Machine™ pickups produce that classic Strat quack and chime, precisely tuned to get his unique sound.
Other features include a maple neck with a slightly changed headstock shape, a rosewood fingerboard with rounded edges and a 10 - 14' compound radius, a vintage - style 6 - screw synchronized tremolo, deluxe locking tuners for better tuning stability and easy string changes, and a push/push pot on Tone 2 that bypasses the 5 - way switch and defaults to 'Position 4'. When it comes to maintenance, keep your guitar in its deluxe moulded case when not in use to protect it from dust and damage. Wipe the strings down after each use to prevent rust. Clean the body with a soft, dry cloth to maintain the satin lacquer finish. If you need to change the strings, use the Fender® USA 250R Nickel Plated Steel strings that come with the guitar.
