For that modern Fender® tone, we've included a pair of Custom Shop pickups. The vintage - style bridge pickup and the fat - sounding Twisted Tele neck pickup add a unique edge. They have that crisp, snarling sound that made Fender famous. For a great modern playing feel, there are 21 medium - jumbo frets on the 9.5” - radius roasted maple fingerboard, sitting on a “Thick Soft V” - shaped neck. A vintage - style Tele® bridge with three brass saddles gives it that characteristic twang. With 4 - way switching and the S - 1™ switch, you get even more tonal variety. Series wiring makes it sound fat like a humbucking pickup, and the S - 1 switch creates a cool “strangled” tone. Other features are vintage - style strap buttons, chrome hardware, and a 4 - bolt neck plate. It also comes with a deluxe gig bag.

You can use the 4 - way switching and the S - 1™ switch to explore different tones. When you want a fat sound, use the series wiring. If you're after a cool 'strangled' tone, hit the S - 1 switch. As for maintenance, keep it in the deluxe gig bag when not in use to protect it from dust and scratches. Wipe it down with a soft cloth after each use. The strings are Fender® USA 250L Nickel - Plated Steel, and they'll need to be replaced regularly, especially if you play often.
