Product Description

In 1979, Fender launched the Lead Series to compete with high - quality, low - priced import guitars. It introduced a brand - new solid - body design, hard - tail bridges, and exciting wiring options. These sleek Lead models were a hit among a wide range of guitar players, marking a new creative chapter in Fender's history. The Player Lead III pays homage to the 1982 - only original. It comes with hot alnico Player humbucking pickups. You've got dual - toggle switches for choosing pickups and coil - splitting. The neck has a modern 'C' shape and medium jumbo frets. It's available in Purple Metallic, classic Olympic White, and Sienna Sunburst. The Player Lead Series combines style, power, and versatility in an easy - to - play guitar. Specifications: Body Shape is Lead, made of Alder with a Polyester finish. The fretboard is Pau Ferro with a 9.5' (241 mm) radius, 22 frets, and white dot inlays. It uses Player Series Alnico 2 Humbucking pickups. The bridge is a 6 - Saddle String - Through - Body Hardtail with Block Saddles. Strings are Fender® USA 250L Nickel Plated Steel (.009 -.042 Gauges). There's a 3 - Ply Black pickguard, vintage - style tuning machines, and nickel/chrome hardware finish.

Using your Fender Player Lead III Electric Guitar is a breeze. First, plug it into an amplifier using a guitar cable. Adjust the amplifier settings like volume, tone, and gain to get the sound you want. The dual - toggle switches on the guitar let you choose different pickup combinations and split the coils for a thinner sound. To play, hold the neck with one hand and use your fingers to press down on the frets to change the pitch. Strum or pick the strings with the other hand. When it comes to maintenance, keep your guitar in a cool, dry place to prevent warping of the neck and damage to the body. Clean the strings regularly with a soft cloth to remove dirt and sweat, which can affect the tone. Check the tuning machines often to make sure they're working properly. If the strings start to sound dull or break, replace them with new Fender® USA 250L Nickel Plated Steel strings. And be careful when transporting your guitar; use a proper guitar case to protect it from bumps and scratches.
