Product Description

The Avalon tenor ukulele is inspired by the vibrant beach community on Catalina Island in Southern California. It's the bigger brother of our very popular Venice soprano model. A tenor ukulele offers a deeper tone than concert or soprano sizes, and it's super portable, so you can take it from the beach to the studio or jam room easily. The Avalon is made of all - basswood and has a slim 'C' - shaped neck, which gives it the great tone and playability that Fender ukuleles are known for. Other great features include a no - tie bridge for fast and easy string changes, classic Fender color choices, and a painted 4 - in - line Strat® headstock. With this ukulele, you'll feel like you're on your own island wherever you are. Specifications: Body Shape: Tenor Ukulele; Body Material: Laminated Basswood (Top), Laminated Basswood (Back & Sides); Body Finish: Satin; Fretboard Material: Walnut; Fretboard Radius: Flat; Scale Length: 17' (432 mm); No. of Frets: 19; Fretboard Inlays: White Dot Inlays; Bridge: Walnut, Pull - through; Strings: Standard Tenor Uke; Tuning Machines: Open - Back Geared; Hardware Finish: Chrome.

Using your Fender Avalon Tenor Ukulele is a breeze. First, tune it up using the open - back geared tuning machines. Once it's in tune, you can start strumming or picking. To change strings, use the no - tie bridge for a quick and easy process. When you're not playing, store it in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight or in very humid areas, as this can damage the wood. To keep it in good condition, wipe it down with a soft, dry cloth after each use. If you notice any issues with the fretboard or the hardware, it's a good idea to take it to a professional for servicing. With proper care, your ukulele will last a long time and keep sounding great.
