Product Description

The Fender Avalon tenor ukulele is inspired by the vibrant beach community of Catalina Island in Southern California. It's the bigger brother of the very popular Venice soprano model. This tenor ukulele offers a deeper tone than concert or soprano sizes, yet it's still super portable, so you can take it from the beach to the studio or jam room with ease. Built with all-basswood and a slim 'C'-shaped neck, it delivers the excellent tone and playability that Fender ukuleles are known for. Other great features include a no-tie bridge for fast and easy string changes, classic Fender color choices, and a painted 4-in-line Strat® headstock. With the Avalon ukulele, you'll feel like you're on your own island, no matter where you are. Specifications: Body Shape - Tenor Ukulele; Body Material - Laminated Basswood (Top), Laminated Basswood (Back & Sides); Body Finish - Satin; Fretboard Material - Walnut; Fretboard Radius - Flat; Scale Length - 17' (432 mm); No. of Frets - 19; Fretboard Inlays - White Dot Inlays; Bridge - Walnut, Pull-through; Strings - Standard Tenor Uke; Tuning Machines - Open-Back Geared; Hardware Finish - Chrome.

Using your Fender Avalon tenor ukulele is a breeze. First, tune it up using the open - back geared tuning machines. Make sure to keep it in the right pitch so it sounds great. When it's time to change the strings, use the no - tie bridge for a quick and easy swap. You can play it anywhere, whether you're relaxing on the beach or jamming with friends in a studio. As for maintenance, keep it away from extreme temperatures and humidity. Wipe it down gently with a soft cloth after each use. Check the frets and the bridge regularly for any signs of wear. And if you notice the tuning isn't holding well, it might be time to have it checked by a professional.
