The Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass JJ V has a sleek alder body, harking back to the original Charvel San Dimas basses of the late 1970s. Its deeper cutaway gives bassists easy access to the upper registers. The super-thin bolt-on maple Charvel speed neck is crafted in the original style with a beautiful caramelized look, graphite reinforcement, and a heel-mount truss rod wheel for simple adjustment. The 12”-16” compound radius caramelized maple fingerboard flattens from nut to heel for smooth playing, with rolled edges, 20 jumbo frets, and Luminlay® side dots. This bass features DiMarzio® pickups. An Area J™ DP551 at the bridge and an Area J DP550 in the middle offer a well-balanced tone with warmth, sustain, and clarity. The versatile electronics include three-band active EQ, pickup blend control, and a master volume control with a push/pull selector. A quick pull on the volume knob bypasses the EQ's active circuit, so you don't lose sound if the battery dies. A Charvel HiMass™ bridge, Graph Tech® TUSQ® XL nut, and open-gear tuners ensure excellent tuning stability, improved note punch, and sustain. This 5-string bass comes in eye - catching Lambo Green Metallic with gold hardware, cream pickup covers, and a licensed Fender® Precision Bass® headstock shape. Using this Charvel Pro - Mod San Dimas bass is a breeze. When you play, you'll notice how easy it is to reach the upper registers thanks to the deep cutaway. Adjust the truss rod wheel at the heel of the neck if you need to tweak the neck's curvature. For tone control, use the three - band active EQ, pickup blend control, and master volume control. If the battery runs out, just pull the volume knob to bypass the active circuit and keep playing. When it comes to maintenance, keep the bass in a dry place to prevent the wood from warping. Wipe the strings after each use to keep them clean and reduce corrosion. Check the tuning regularly, and if you need to change the strings, follow the standard string - changing procedure for a 5 - string bass. The open - gear tuners and Charvel HiMass™ bridge make tuning stable, but be gentle when turning the tuners to avoid damage.
