Product Description

In the 1980s, Cort led the headless guitar and bass movement with its Space series, featuring tuners licensed by Steinberg Sound. Now, the Space 5 is back to honor Cort's innovative spirit and meet the rising demand for compact headless instruments. This bass guitar has a Polar Burl top and a Maple back and sides. The Macassar Ebony fretboard has a 15.75' (400mm) radius, a 34' (864mm) scale length, and 24 frets with Abalone Dot inlays. It's equipped with Bartolini® MK - 1 pickups at the bridge and neck, and D'Addario® EXL170 - 5SL strings. The hardware has a sleek black finish.

Using your Cort Space5 Electric Bass Guitar is a breeze. Just plug it into your amplifier, tune the strings, and start playing. When tuning, use the reliable Steinberg - licensed tuners. As you play, experiment with the Bartolini pickups to get different tones. For a brighter sound, try using the bridge pickup; for a warmer one, switch to the neck pickup. When not in use, keep your bass in the included bag to protect it from dust and scratches. Wipe the strings with a soft cloth after each use to prevent rust. Every few months, you may want to change the strings for the best sound. Also, make sure to store your bass in a place with stable temperature and humidity to avoid any damage to the body or fretboard.
