Using the Focusrite Vocaster One is a breeze. First, connect your microphone to the mic input using the XLR cable. If you're using the Vocaster One Studio, the cable is already included. If you want to record directly into your camera, connect it to the speaker output, but remember you'll need a TRS to TRS cable (not included). To set the right audio level, just hold down the Auto Gain button, and the device will do the work for you. When you're ready to enhance your voice, click the Enhance button and choose from the four available voice presets in Vocaster Hub. If there's an interruption during recording, quickly press the Mute button. Keep an eye on the coloured gain ring to make sure your voice level is perfect.
