Using the Focusrite Vocaster One USB - C Studio Bundle is a breeze. First, connect your microphone to the mic input using the included XLR cable. Then, plug in your headphones to the headphone output so you can hear how your show will sound. If you want to record directly into your camera, connect it to the speaker output, but remember you'll need a TRS to TRS cable (not included).
When you're ready to record, use the Auto Gain feature. Just hold down the Auto Gain button, and the device will figure out the right audio level for you. For a more professional sound, click the Enhance button and pick from four voice presets. And if you need to take a break or there's an interruption, quickly mute the audio.
The colored gain ring on the mic gain helps you see when your voice level is just right. Also, use the volume control to make sure your volume stays consistent.
