Product Description

The Ultra-DI Pro DI4800A is an amazing piece of gear that packs 4 top - notch DI channels into a single rack space. It's perfect for both stage and studio use. Each channel has one input (either XLR or ¼” TRS) and two XLR outputs, both at the front and back. This setup allows you to connect to your amp or monitor console, giving you a total of 8 outputs. The DI4800A can handle almost any input signal. It comes with a switchable - 20 dB output attenuation. And the well - known Behringer OT - 1 output transformers ensure a pure and powerful output. Key features include: it's a professional and multi - purpose direct injection box for stage and studio; it provides impedance and signal matching for direct instrument connection to mixers and amplifiers; it has an ultra - flat frequency response thanks to the OT - 1 transformers; it offers a total of +18 dB gain boost in three +6 dB steps for pre - amplifying low - level signals; the ground lift switch gets rid of common ground loop problems; there's a switchable - 20 dB output attenuation; it uses Neutrik* combo and gold - plated XLR connectors; it can be powered by an external DC power supply (included) or optionally by batteries (sold separately).

Using the Behringer DI4800A is a breeze. First, connect your instrument to the input on each channel. You can choose either the XLR or ¼” TRS input. Then, connect the outputs to your amp or monitor console. If you have low - level signals, you can use the gain boost in +6 dB increments up to a total of +18 dB. The ground lift switch can be turned on if you experience any ground loop issues. For the output, you can switch the - 20 dB attenuation if needed. When it comes to power, you can use the included external DC power supply. If you prefer a more mobile setup, you can use batteries (sold separately). As for maintenance, keep it clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures. If you notice any problems, check the connections first. And if the issue persists, it might be a good idea to consult a professional.
