Product Description

Starting with one of the most popular and iconic body shapes, Charvel's creative design team crafted more dramatic curves for better ergonomic comfort. The alder So - Cal Style 2 body has a scalloped lower back bout and a shredder's cut heel, allowing easy access to the upper frets and offering hours of great playing experience. A graphite - reinforced bolt - on maple neck ensures rock - solid stability in any road and climate conditions. A heel - mount truss rod adjust thumbwheel makes it quick and simple to tweak the neck relief. The So - Cal Style 2 features a speed neck profile with a hand - rubbed urethane finish on the back and a 12' - 16' compound radius caramelized maple fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets, pearloid dot inlays, and a Graph Tech® TUSQ® XL nut. Luminlay® side dots help you navigate the fretboard even in the darkest settings. This guitar is built for outstanding performance and versatile sound. It comes with multi - voiced Fishman® Fluence® Open Core PRF - COC pickups for rich, dynamic tones. The bridge pickup can produce a classic hot - rodded humbucking tone or a perfect vintage PAF humbucking tone. The neck pickup offers a unique Fluence tone or an ideal vintage PAF tone. A two - way mini toggle lets you switch between voicings, and a tone control with push/pull activation bypasses it to activate a third voice for clear, vintage single - coil tones. With a three - way blade pickup switch and a volume control knob, the tonal options are almost limitless. The guitar also has a Charvel® HT6 string - through - body hardtail bridge with brass saddles for excellent sustain and precise intonation, along with Charvel - branded sealed die - cast locking tuners and standard strap buttons. Specifications: Body Material: Alder; Body Finish: Gloss; Fretboard Material: Caramelized Maple; Fretboard Radius: 12' - 16' Compound Radius (304.8 mm to 406.4 mm); Scale Length: 25.5' (648 mm); No. of Frets: 24; Fretboard Inlays: 4mm Pearloid Dot; Pickup(s): Fishman® Fluence® Open Core PRF - COC; Bridge: Charvel® HT6 String - Through - Body Hardtail with Brass Saddles; Strings: Nickel Plated Steel (.009 -.042 Gauges); Pickguard: 1 - Ply Parchment; Tuning Machines: Charvel® - Branded Die - Cast Locking; Hardware Finish: Chrome.

Using your Charvel electric guitar is a breeze. First, make sure the guitar is properly tuned using the Charvel - branded sealed die - cast locking tuners. You can switch between different tones using the three - way blade pickup switch, two - way mini toggle, and the tone control with push/pull activation. Experiment with these controls to find your favorite sound. When you're done playing, always use a soft cloth to wipe off any sweat or dirt from the body, neck, and strings. This helps prevent corrosion and keeps the guitar looking good. Store the guitar in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For the best performance, change the nickel - plated steel strings regularly, about every few months depending on how often you play. If you need to adjust the neck relief, use the heel - mount truss rod adjust thumbwheel carefully. And don't forget to check the intonation on the Charvel® HT6 string - through - body hardtail bridge from time to time to ensure accurate tuning across all frets.
