Product Description

The Limited Edition ’55 Bone Tone Strat takes you back to the iconic year of the Strat. It features modified vintage-style elements, gold hardware, and custom details. The two-piece ash body has a Relic lacquer finish, giving it a unique and aged look. The tinted one-piece 2A flame maple neck offers a comfortable ’54 Strat “soft V” profile. It comes with a vintage compound-radius fingerboard (7.25”-9.5”) and 21 narrow-tall frets for smooth playing. The master-designed hand-wound Bone Tone pickups provide ample headroom. They use fewer turns of heavy formvar wire, bevelled alnico 2 magnets, and ’54 pickup covers. The five-way switch is connected to “½ blender” wiring, allowing you to blend the neck pickup in positions 1 and 2. Other highlights include an eight-hole gold anodized pickguard, a Custom Shop vintage-style synchronized tremolo, vintage-style tuning machines, a bone nut, and a vintage-style disc string tree with a metal spacer. The guitar comes with a deluxe hardshell case, a strap, and a certificate of authenticity. Using your Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 1955 Bone Tone Relic Stratocaster is a breeze. First, take it out of the deluxe hardshell case gently. Adjust the tuning using the vintage-style tuning machines until it sounds just right. You can use the five-way switch to select different pickup combinations and the “½ blender” wiring to blend the neck pickup in positions 1 and 2. When playing, the comfortable ’54 Strat “soft V” neck profile and the narrow-tall frets will make your fingers glide smoothly. For maintenance, keep the guitar in a dry and cool place. Wipe it with a soft cloth after each use to remove sweat and dirt. If you need to change the strings, use nickel-plated steel strings with gauges between.010 and.046. Be careful when using the Custom Shop vintage-style synchronized tremolo as it can be sensitive. Always keep the bone nut clean and in good condition. With proper care, your guitar will last for a long time and keep sounding great.
