For intense, molten metal riffing, the Jim Root Jazzmaster® V4 offers a crushing detuned tone with a bold new look. We collaborated closely with the renowned Slipknot guitarist to design a signature Jazzmaster model that matches his heavy - hitting playing style. It features signature Daemonum™ open - coil EMG® active pickups, a 12” radius fingerboard with jumbo frets ideal for shredding, and a simple control layout. The Jim Root Jazzmaster II cuts out non - essentials like a vibrato, rhythm circuit, and tone control. Only the key elements remain: a volume control, a 3 - way switch, and a hardtail bridge, making it a single - purpose powerhouse. Use the volume control to adjust the sound level and the 3 - way switch to change the pickup configuration. When not in use, keep it in the deluxe black tweed hardshell case to protect it from dust and damage. To maintain the guitar, wipe the body with a soft cloth regularly to keep the satin finish looking good. Check the strings periodically and replace them when they start to wear out. Also, make sure to keep the fretboard clean and lubricated to ensure smooth playing.
