Product Description

In the early 70s, the first System 55, 35, and 15 synth modules hit the market. They were super pricey and mostly used discrete transistor designs because op - amps were costly back then. This discrete circuitry gave the modules a unique sound, which was used by big - name artists like Keith Emerson, Stevie Wonder, and Tangerine Dream, creating some of the greatest music ever. Modular synths were a big deal in electronic music, and now it's getting even better. The 921 VCO module offers a vintage sound from the 70s. It authentically reproduces the circuitry of the 'Modular 55, 35 & 15' Series. Famous pop, rock, and jazz musicians are on the artist roster. The VCO has 6 selectable waveforms including sine, triangle, saw, inverted saw, square, and inverted square. It has pulse width control with 2 separate CV inputs for rich PWM sounds. You can switch between Sub Audio (LFO) and Audio (VCO) for more flexibility. The VCO also provides Frequency and Range controls, 6 audio outputs, 5 CV inputs, and 2 trig inputs. With 8 controls and switches, you can access all important parameters in real - time. It follows Eurorack specs: 14 HP, 50 mA +12 V, 50 mA -12 V.

Using the Behringer 921 VCO module is easy. First, make sure it's properly installed in your Eurorack setup according to the Eurorack specs. You can start by selecting one of the 6 waveforms on the VCO, like sine or square, based on the sound you want. Use the Frequency and Range controls to adjust the pitch. For those fat PWM sounds, play around with the pulse width control and the 2 separate CV inputs. You can switch between Sub Audio (LFO) and Audio (VCO) to get different effects. When it comes to maintenance, keep it clean and dry. Don't expose it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you're not using it for a long time, store it in a safe place. And always be gentle when operating the 8 controls and switches to avoid any damage.
