Using your Fishman Blackstack Passive Soundhole Acoustic Guitar Pickup is a breeze. First, make sure your guitar has a soundhole with a diameter of at least 3 5/8 inches (92 mm). You can either install it temporarily or permanently. Just connect the 5 - foot cable that comes with the pickup. The cable has a TA4 mini - XLR connector and a 1/4” combination endpin jack. If you want to adjust the output of each string, use the hex wrench provided to move the pole pieces up or down. Be gentle when making these adjustments. When it comes to maintenance, keep the pickup clean. Avoid getting it wet and store it in a dry place when not in use. Also, don't force the connectors as they are precision - made. If you have any issues, check the connections first. You can use the pickup right out of the box with the included cable, or if you're more adventurous, create your own custom endpin jack solution.
