Product Description

The Chapman Ghost Fret is back with a bang! This classic electric guitar has received some great improvements. The body carving is better, and the strap lock placement is more convenient. Plus, Korina wood is introduced to the Chapman range for the first time. As expected from Chapman, it comes with stainless - steel frets, a roasted maple neck, and Hipshot locking tuners. After a lot of testing, Chapman paired it with USA Seymour Duncan pickups. There's a Ceramic “Distortion” in the neck and an ALNICO 5 “Alternative 8” in the bridge, delivering a full range of power and clear tones. Whether you're into smooth blues or intense metal, the Chapman Ghost Fret has all you need and more. Specifications: Body Shape - Ghost Fret; Body Material - Korina Solid Carve; Neck Profile - 'C' Shape; Fretboard Material - Macassar Ebony with Rolled Edges; Fretboard Radius - ~13.5″ (350mm); Scale Length - ~24.75″ (648mm); No. of Frets - 22 Jumbo Stainless Steel Frets; Fretboard Inlays - 12th Fret Pearloid Infinity; Pickups - Seymour Duncan Alternative Alnico 8 Humbucker (Bridge), Seymour Duncan Distortion Ceramic Humbucker (Neck); Bridge - Chapman String Through Hardtail; Strings - Ernie Ball Regular Slinky Nickel Wound, 10 - 46; Tuning Machines - Hipshot Grip - Lock Open (18:1 Gearing); Hardware Finish - Black.

Using your Chapman Ghost Fret Pro Electric Guitar is a breeze. Just plug it into your amplifier, adjust the volume and tone knobs to your liking, and start playing. When it comes to changing strings, you can use the Chapman String Through Hardtail bridge. First, loosen the old strings and remove them. Then, thread the new Ernie Ball Regular Slinky Nickel Wound strings through the bridge and tuners. Tune them up to the right pitch. As for maintenance, keep your guitar in a cool and dry place. Wipe it down with a clean cloth after each use to remove sweat and dirt. If you're not going to use it for a long time, loosen the strings a bit to relieve the tension on the neck. And don't forget to check the tuning machines regularly to make sure they're working properly. With these simple steps, your guitar will stay in great shape for years to come.
