Product Description

Introduced in 2023, the Fender Custom Shop's Late '62 Stratocaster Relic with Closet Classic Hardware brings back the charm of the early 1960s. Over 60 years after its predecessor, this guitar has aged looks, sound, and vibe. Its two - piece select alder body comes in four great finishes including Super Faded Aged Shell Pink. The relic treatment gives it an authentic, well - used look from finish checking to dings and dents, and the moderately oxidized Closet Classic hardware adds to the story. The rift - sawn maple neck has a classic '60s Oval 'C' profile and a 9.5' - radius round - lam rosewood fingerboard with clay - dot inlays. Three Custom Shop hand - wound '60 - '63 Stratocaster Pickups offer early - '60s Strat® tone with glassy highs, a slight midrange scoop, and focused lows. Premium features include Vintage Modified #2 wiring with a Tone - Saver bleed circuit, a five - way pickup switch, a three - ply mint green pickguard, a Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, vintage - style tuners, a wing string tree, a deluxe hardshell case, a strap, and a certificate of authenticity. Using this Fender guitar is easy. First, plug it into an amplifier using a guitar cable. You can adjust the tone and volume using the knobs on the guitar. The five - way pickup switch lets you choose different pickup combinations for various sounds. When you're done playing, put it in the deluxe hardshell case to protect it. For maintenance, keep the guitar in a stable environment with moderate humidity and temperature. Wipe the strings after each use to prevent corrosion. Clean the body and fretboard regularly with a soft cloth. If you need to change the strings, make sure to use the Fender® USA 250R Nickel Plated Steel strings with the right gauges. Also, check the tuning machines and bridge periodically to ensure they're in good working condition. Don't expose the guitar to extreme heat, cold, or direct sunlight for long periods as it can damage the finish and the wood.
