Product Description

There's nothing quite like the classic charm of a Fender electric bass. The Player Precision Bass is the real deal, offering genuine Fender style and a powerful, earth - shaking sound that has inspired countless imitations. With its smooth playability and eye - catching style, this bass is perfect for both studio recording and stage performances. It helps you bring your creative ideas to life. Key features include a Precision Bass® body shape made of Alder, painted in a sleek black with a Gloss Polyester finish. The Maple fretboard has a 9.5' (241 mm) radius, 20 frets, and Black Dot inlays. It's equipped with a Player Series Alnico 5 Split Single - Coil Precision Bass® pickup, a 4 - Saddle Standard bridge, a 3 - Ply Parchment pickguard, Fender® USA NPS strings (gauges .045 - .105), Standard Open - Gear tuning machines, and Nickel/Chrome hardware finish. No case is included.

Using your Fender Player Precision Bass Guitar is a breeze. First, tune it up using the Standard Open - Gear tuning machines. Just turn the pegs until you reach the right pitch. You can use a tuner app on your phone for accurate tuning. When you play, place your fingers on the frets gently and use your thumb to support the neck. The smooth Maple fretboard makes it easy to slide your fingers up and down. For the best sound, adjust the volume and tone controls to your liking. As for maintenance, keep your bass clean. Use a soft cloth to wipe the body after each use, especially if you've been sweating. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity, as this can damage the wood and the electronics. Every few months, check the strings. If they start to sound dull or feel rough, it's time to replace them with new Fender® USA NPS strings. When not in use, store your bass in a safe place, away from any potential hazards.
